It is just sad that Gaza has become an open air prison, the present administration in Israel is Ok with settlers literally kicking out Palestinians from areas where a two state solution might be formed. Seems like we, the U.S., get close to brokering a deal and then it falls apart.

The US doesn't regret the A-bombs, it actually saved at least a million GIs their lives in not having to invades Japan. A Japan that was going to send women & children attacking the GIs with pointed sticks, in the insane belief that would stop the American invasion. At least 10 million Japanese would've died in an invasion.
Plus the generals in the Pentagon were going to ask Truman to ignore the ban on poison gas & use it on Japan, to save US lives.
And really, I don't give a damn how many Germans we killed with our bombs, not after they murdered 6 million of us! Good fucking riddance to every one of them!
Did you ever see all the film of the Germans so ecstatic running around with swastikas & cheering on Hitler & smashing Jewish storefronts. Torturing Jews in the streets. 99% of them worshiped him, just a minuscule few opposed him!
