A sane take, for once, on a subject that is driving too many people insane.

"it’s the time for single-payer. Bigger mountains have been scaled before." Yeah it is.

For the record. I'm not "non-violent" and I don't think anyone else is either. Here's why. You hurt someone I love I will kill you or die trying. I don't that's wrong. I think it's right. And I think Luigi was right. And I don't think there is a jury in the land who will convict him though there probably is. When I hear people decrying retributive violence I wonder what world they they think they live in. The violence perpetrated on us "The People" is omnipresent, and obvious. So are we wrong to strike back? Not in my book. The way I see it. Luigi got their attention. Now we need to cement their attention in order to get them to change, or we cement their bodies and toss 'em in the lake if they don't change. I say the change is gonna come. Time will tell. God Bless Luigi Mangioni an American hero just like Davy Crockett or maybe Louis Whetzel would be a more accurate comparison. Luigi Deathwind — has a nice ring to it. Much love Irv! You are the best and a stalwart voice of reason, forgive my take, it's American as you and me, hence your reflection and article. Thank you!

I don’t think you get bleak enough, Irv. Couple this with the economic pain that is sure to come in the next few years and a lot of desperate people will be taking drastic action — up to and including “defensive” murder — and expecting to be exonerated. I hope this isn’t the start of class warfare, but the signs are there.

We could easily slide in the direction of class warfare -- the violent kind. I assume that's what you mean, since, I think, we're already into the video and verbal versions.
